Half Round

Shop our range of half round poles, the machined timber pole cut from a round log and sawn down the middle to give a flat back and a rounded face. The flat side fixes flush against posts, rails or structures, while the rounded face sheds water and provides a clean, traditional finish — making half round poles a versatile, cost-effective choice across fencing and landscaping projects.

Using less timber than a full round pole while keeping the same rustic look, half round poles are popular for post and rail fencing, paddock and equestrian boundaries, capping rails, retaining work and decorative garden features. The flat back makes fixing quick and secure, whether you’re running rails between posts or cladding a structure. Available in a range of diameters and lengths to suit everything from light garden use to heavier agricultural fencing.

All our half round poles are pressure-treated for long-term protection against rot, decay and insect attack, making them suitable for direct ground contact and exposed outdoor use across UK weather conditions. Pair them with our round poles, pointed round posts and fencing accessories for a complete post and rail fencing system.

Shop our range of cross cut both ends posts, the machined timber round post cut flat and square at both ends. Unlike pointed posts designed to be driven, these posts are squared off top and bottom, making them ideal for setting into post holes, concreting in, or any application where a clean, level finish is needed at both ends.

The flat top gives a tidy, finished look along the run, while the squared base sits neatly in a dug or augered hole for a firm, upright set. Turned to a smooth, uniform round profile, these posts suit post and rail fencing, paddock and equestrian boundaries, stock fencing, gate posts and a wide range of agricultural and landscaping projects. Available in a range of diameters and lengths to match your fence height and post spacing.

Shop our range of pointed round posts, the machined timber post with a factory-cut point for fast, easy driving straight into the ground. The pre-formed point removes the need for digging and concreting in many applications, making these posts the go-to choice for stock fencing, wire fencing, paddock and equestrian boundaries, tree staking and agricultural runs.

Turned to a smooth, uniform round profile and finished with a clean machined point, each post drives in cleanly and grips firmly once set. They pair perfectly with wire stock fencing, post and rail systems and electric fencing, and are ideal wherever you need to install a long boundary run quickly and economically. Available in a range of diameters and lengths to suit everything from light garden staking to heavy-duty livestock fencing.
